After spending many months planning your big day, you may not want to be the coordinator on the day making sure everything goes to plan. Daniel Lay Event Services can provide an on the day wedding co-ordinator service for couples who have already planned their own wedding but would like the peace of mind and support in ensuring that all suppliers arrive on time and execute according to pre-arranged timeline. This means we ensure that the day keeps to timings, and we answer suppliers questions and deal with any issues. It allows you to relax and enjoy your day.
 
When Daniel Lay Events coordinates a wedding, we work quietly in the background and making sure everything looks as it should. Our aim is to ensure the couple have the day they dreamed of and can relax knowing it is all under control. If your suppliers are lost, your guests need a taxi or there is no ice for the bar. It shouldn’t be your problem.
 
Our wedding day coordination service includes:
 
  • A site meeting with the couple around 6-8 weeks before the wedding. We will discuss all the details of your wedding day and exactly how you want it to run. This is charged from £100 +VAT, this is then used towards the booking cost.
  • Upon signing contracts, you are sent our coordination questionnaire
  • Contact and consultation between all suppliers provided 4 weeks before the wedding to confirm all details amongst them with the couple
  • Development of a detailed wedding day timeline with collaboration from the couple
  • Meeting and instructing suppliers setting up prior to wedding day and on the day
  • Helping suppliers prior to the day and on the day
  • Day coordination and supervision for 11 hours on the wedding day

Wedding Consultation

Are you or a family member or close friend a planner at heart, and can’t imagine not seeing every aspect through on your wedding day? Or is your budget just a little tight, but you still want to make sure you aren’t missing anything. Daniel Lay Event Services understands that having a wedding coordinator might not be in everyone’s budget. But you may just want some professional advice in the months or weeks leading up to your big day. We offer hourly consultations to give couples a little guidance along the way. We are expert planners and we can help in the following ways:

  • Venue or Vendor recommendations
  • Beginning to End checklists
  • Budgeting assistance
  • Timeline preparation, generation and management
  • Travel and transportation logistics
  • Menu and hospitality advice
  • Floor plan and seating questions

Price: 

In person meeting at your venue charged from £100+ VAT. If a further service is booked 50% of this cost will be used towards the items booked. 

Hourly Fee: £40+VAT

We also offer a 10% discount on products booked with Daniel Lay Event Services when opting for a wedding consultation service.

Master of Ceremonies and Toastmasters

Whether you hire in a professional or ask a favour from a friend, having a Master of Ceremonies on duty at your wedding will help. They are the point person with microphone in hand, their job is to inform the wedding party of what’s happening.
 
From Photographs, to announcing when the breakfast will be served. Once guests are seated the MC will announce the entrance and lead a round of cheering and applause. The MC can then announce the tossing of the bouquet, introduce speeches and cutting of the cake.
 

Wedding Bar Staff

 
Our bar staff will take care of serving drinks to your guests and keeping the the bar area clean in addition to general drinks preparationOur clients typically supply the drink and we operate a free bar using our own equipment. This saves you on drinks costs and cuts down queues at the bar. 
 
Our bartenders in Surrey, Kent and Sussex are the perfect compliment to your event and are supplied in four levels of service:
 
  • General Bar Staff – Our most popular option – To serve beer, wine, fizz, spirits & soft drinks (no cocktail bartending included)
  • Cocktail Bartenders – To serve the above drinks in addition to a pre chosen selection of up to 4 cocktails
  • Expert Cocktail Bartender/Mixologist – Can make any drink you wish (assuming you have provided the relevant ingredients to do so
  • Flare Bartenders – Bartenders who will perform tricks and entertain your guests. We typically reccomend this in addition to regular event staff and bartenders as a feature

Clean Up Staff

  
One way to ensure a successful party is to ensure your event space remains clean and free of rubbish, food & plates/glasses.
 
Our discreet clean up staff will collect glasses, plates, cutlery and rubbish to ensure your event space remains spotless throughout.
 
This means you can relax and enjoy the event without having to worry about any mess. In addition we will ensure you won’t have to spend time clearing down after the event has finished, after all there’s nothing worse than spending countless hours the following day cleaning up!
 
All rubbish & recycling will be put into your bins/bags and we can even take rubbish away for an additional charge if booked in advance. We offer clean up staff for events and even staff for cleanup the following day.
